What Perth Customers Are Saying
View review on GoogleAbsolutely amazing!! Super Honest!!! Lloyd listened to my story about the previous Company that had serviced (or shall I say not serviced my air-conditioner) and their recommendations that the compressor was totalled and to either fix that for $7k or replace the whole system for nearly $8k!!!
I was only seeking secondary quotes to replace the system but Lloyd came out looked at my system and the service report from the other company and recognised the problem (which was evident in thier own photos!!!) and solved it all within an hour and a half, and it only cost me $500 for the materials and labour!!!
(The other company charged me almost $400 to look, not do anything and lie to me)
So I will 100% be trusting Lloyd and his team to help with all my aircon needs now and in the future!!! Thank you so much!!!

View review on GoogleDamien came today to install my new ducted system after a fast response and seamless quotation process. The price was competitive, and i couldnt be happier with the workmanship and quality of service i recieved. He made sure to explain how to use the system, and even helped me rename the zones to what i wanted. He left the area cleaner than it was when he came and answered all my questions. 50+ Combined Years on the Tools
Our team has fitted, repaired and serviced almost every type of system found in Perth homes and businesses. When we recommend a system, it’s backed by decades of hands-on experience.
Fully Licensed, Fully Insured
Every installation is carried out by licensed, insured technicians who meet Western Australian safety standards. That’s not a nice-to-have. It’s the law and we treat it that way.
Quality Brands, No Upselling
We supply and install trusted brands including Daikin, Panasonic, Mitsubishi Electric, Midea and more. We’ll recommend the most suitable unit for your property and budget.
Brands We Work With
Residential Air Conditioning
With Western Australia’s harsh climate, air conditioners are a staple element within homes and apartments for year round comfort and relaxation. Installing, upgrading, and repairing all types of residential air conditioners, our team at Simply Cool will ensure your unit is not only operational, but pumping clean, fresh air into your home.
Commercial Air Conditioning
Working in sweltering conditions is near impossible during a Western Australian summer’s day. Ensuring employees are kept comfortable is vital for work efficiency and productivity. With higher usage in a commercial space, it is important to have all air conditioners maintained and serviced regularly to prevent breakdown and repair requirements.
Air Conditioning Systems: Which One Suits Your Property?
Split system, ducted or evaporative? Every Perth property is different and so is the system to suit it. Here’s how the three compare, so you know what you’re choosing before we even visit.
Split Systems
One unit, one room. Split systems heat or cool individual spaces quickly and quietly, with reverse-cycle models handling both jobs. Most installations are done within a few hours and they’re the most budget friendly way to climate-control rooms you actually use.
Best for: bedrooms, home offices, apartments and smaller homes
Ducted Air Conditioning
One system, every room. Ducted air conditioning spreads even climate control through the whole property via ceiling vents, with zoning so you only run the areas you’re using. It costs more to install than a split system but pays back in comfort and running costs over its 15-plus year lifespan.
Best for: larger homes, new builds, renovations and commercial spaces needing zoning
Evaporative Air
Fresh, not recycled air. Evaporative systems cool your home by drawing in outside air and passing it through water-cooled pads, using a fraction of the power a refrigerated system needs. It won’t get your home as cold on the most humid days, but for Perth’s dry summer heat it’s a cost-effective way to keep a larger home comfortable.
Best for: open-plan homes where running costs matter as much as comfort
| Feature | Split Systems | Ducted Air Conditioning | Evaporative Air |
|---|---|---|---|
| Best for | Single rooms, apartments, small homes | Whole-home comfort, larger homes, multi-zone commercial | Larger, open-plan homes where running costs matter most |
| Install time | Most jobs finished in a few hours | Most residential installs done within a day | Most residential installs done within a day |
| Typical lifespan | 10 to 15 years with regular servicing | 15+ years with regular servicing | 15+ years with regular servicing |
| Upfront cost | Lowest of the three | Highest, reflects whole-property coverage | Lower than refrigerated systems |
| Running cost | Efficient for the rooms it covers | Lower when zoned correctly | Lowest power draw of the three |
| Heating | Yes, reverse-cycle | Yes, reverse-cycle | No, cooling only |
| Air source | Recirculates and conditions indoor air | Recirculates and conditions indoor air | Draws in fresh outside air |

Frequently Asked Questions
What Areas Of Perth Do You Service?
Simply Cool Air Conditioning is based in Joondalup and services Perth’s northern corridor including Marmion, Clarkson, Wangara, Balcatta, Mullaloo and surrounding areas. We also take on jobs across the broader metropolitan area for residential and commercial clients. Not sure if you fall in our service area? Get in touch with our team and we’ll let you know.
Do You Install, Service & Repair All Types Of Air Conditioning Systems?
Yes. Split systems, ducted air conditioning and evaporative cooling. Whether you need a new installation, you’re upgrading an existing system, routine maintenance or repair, our team handles it all. We work on both residential homes and commercial properties, so whatever the job, we can help.
How Do I Know Which Air Conditioning System Is Right For My Home?
That depends on your property size, layout, budget and how you plan to use it. Rather than guessing over the phone, we visit your property, assess the space and give you honest recommendations based on what will actually suit your situation – and our assessments are obligation-free.
Are Your Technicians Licensed & Insured?
Yes. All installation are carried out by fully licensed and insured technicians in compliance with relevant Western Australian legislation. Simply Cool Air Conditioning has over 50 years of combined industry experience across the team, so you can trust that you’re in capable hands throughout the entire process.
How Much Does Air Conditioning Installation Cost In Perth?
Installation costs vary depending on the system type, property size and complexity of the job. A basic split system installation typically costs less than a full ducted setup, for example. We provide free, no-obligation quotes after visiting your property, that way you get an accurate price, not a rough figure that changes on the day.
Do You Recommend Repairing Or Replacing An Air Conditioner?
It depends on the age of the unit, the cost of the repair and the efficiency of the existing system. Where a repair is the smarter option, we’ll say so. Our job is to give you the honest answer, not the convenient one.
